Company Dvokut-ECRO ltd. shall again take part in the Science Festival as it did the previous years. The festival is taking place concurrently in six Croatian towns (Zagreb, Dubrovnik, Osijek, Pula, Rijeka, Split). This year's jubilar 10th Science Festival shall take part in the period 23-28th April 2012. Dvokut-ECRO has participated in all the festivals held so far, the fact that we are very proud of. This year, Dvokut-ECRO shall again contribute to the Festival with its Mobile Ecological Laboratory for measurement of air quality which will be put on display within the Zagreb Technical Museum's front yard. MSc Gordan Golja, the chief of the laboratory, shall provide expert guidance to the visitors and also provide insight into operational and functional facilities of the laboratory regarding environmental protection. Dvokut-ECRO has been awarded the prestigious award "CSR Index" for achievements in the field of sustainable management during the year 2011 in the category of small companies. The aim of the CSR Index (Corporate Social Responsibility) is to establish a reliable comparative annual assessment of the most successful Croatian companies regarding their responsibility and performance in accordance with the principles of sustainable management, to affirm leading domestic practices and to facilitate monitoring of economic, social and environmental dimensions effects as well as reporting on socially responsible management.
